Senior Peer Counseling

We are pleased to offer Senior Peer Counseling to our community.

Senior Peer Counselors

As we age, certain changes can occur. Some of these changes are depression, isolation, illness/disability and loneliness. Senior Peer Counselors can provide support dealing with these changes and enable you or someone you know to have a compassionate and listening ear to discuss the challenges brought on by aging.

Counseling sessions are held in the client’s home and there is no charge for this service. Senior Peer Counselors meet bi-weekly for group supervision and training, which is provided by Susan Bridge-Mount, MFT, Program Coordinator. If you are interested in receiving the services of a peer counselor or would like more information about the program, please contact the senior center at 964-0443. All inquiries are confidential.
